Conventions

I am new to going to conventions. Texas Frightmare  Weekend 2010 was my first con, and I am hooked.  So this year, we went to TFW ’11, and it was the best week ever.  So we’re hoping to make it to HorrorHound Weekend.

 


 

 

 

 

Books

In my opinion, I think that Feral House is by far the best “one stop shop” for my recreational reading.  I have most of their older titles, I have yet to find a title that I didn’t enjoy…  These are some of my favorites.


tour de force of darkness,Encyclopaedia of Hell is an “invasion manual” for Earth written by Lord Satan for his invading hordes of Demons, complete with hundreds of unpleasant illustrations, diagrams and a comprehensive and utterly repulsive Dictionary of Earth Terms.

 

 

 

The publication of Death Scenes: A Homicide Detective’s Scrapbook proves there is no such thing as the “good old days.” Jack Huddleston, a bona fide detective with the Los Angeles police department, collected together a scrapbook of oddities and gruesome moments from his years working for the force. Huddleston’s scrapbook spans Southern California in its noir heyday, circa 1925–1945, the time when the Black Dahlia killer and Winnie Ruth Judd were perpetrating their savage crimes.

Bands
Some of my favorite bands.  Either friends of mine, bands I’ve worked with, or bands I stalk.  Either way, this is some good stuff.
